What To Expect
Field to Fork Community Supported Agriculture: Is a fruit and vegetable farm in Palisade Colorado. We offer a four season CSA garden share program (for a total of 40 weeks). We cultivate 16 acres of soil for vegetable production using organic methods. We are Certified Organic by the USDA.
We strive to offer and teach our local community of Mesa County how diversified small-scale farms, can produce a higher nutrient dense quality of food and more profitability for farms while using regenerative and economically efficient agricultural practices. We take pride in our thoughtful farming practice by using low inputs and by growing diversified crops organically and biodynamically. Beneficial flowers surround the farm creating habitat for bees, birds and other beneficial insects.
We also farm 4+ acres of stone and pome orchard's organically. Fruit is a wonderful addition to our farm and CSA program. We grow premium cherries, peaches, nectarines, plums, apples and pears. We also grow flowers and herbs.
Sometimes we are not able to produce everything. Some crops are not economically viable for us to grow. We specialize in tree fruit, tomatoes, salad greens, root vegetables, squash and few other vegetable crops. The fact is we must pick our battles and some battles we loose. We also focus on growing specialty crops such as garlic, fennel, basil and artichokes. We have 8000 square feet of greenhouses on our farm. We farm a total of 26 acres. We grow vegetables and harvest fresh produce all four seasons. This allows us to provide fresh nutrient dense produce year round to chefs and foodies in Mesa County.
To us CSA means more then just us. We have a great community of growers that help us and we like to support their efforts. If we have a failed crop or feel like adding value we work with other local farms on products we we are not able to produce. We look for flowers, organically grown vegetables, mushrooms and premium fruit.
Thank you for taking your time to read about our farm!
Our Membership option:
300.00 10 week punch pass: This allows CSA members to come at least 10 times. Most members quickly become addicted to the fresh produce join for 15-30 weeks. We harvest and offer fresh produce for over 40 weeks of the year. Our growing season is much longer due to greenhouse and select seasonal crops.
**This is a limited membership and currently full. New members enter the program on a lottery. Please email us your name if you would like to enter our CSA lottery for the 2018 growing season.

Distribution/Pick Up Schedule for 2018 (Dates May Change)
Pickups are open house style. You can come anytime during your pickup hours. As your farmers, we harvest your food all day, then we set it out all pretty in a buffet style setting, like your own personal farmers market. We mark items in a board that shows the amount we would like you to take. Some weeks we have more of certain items and some items are limited. Once your basket is full, and you collected all the weekly items you are done! We do it all over again the following week.
2018 CSA distribution Schedule:
Every Wednesdays 3-Dusk. March 21 - December 12.
**Members also share the risks of farming, including poor harvests due to unfavorable weather or pests. This is an important point: Quantities and items in baskets of goods cannot be guaranteed. The shareholder, like the farmer, is accepting some of the risks inherent in farming. By direct sales to community members, who have provided the farmer with working capital in advance, growers receive better prices for their crops, gain some financial security, and are relieved of much of the burden of marketing. If members do not follow the guidelines and rules; we reserve the right to refuse service.
We do not offer refunds if you miss a week.
